I am a gypsy at heart. There was a time when I would point my finger on a map, throw a few things into a backpack, and explore, explore, explore. I have always had the feeling that life is way too short and that this is one large world that needs lots of investigating. I love to see new places, meet people from near and far, and just simply go, taste, and enjoy. Traveling is absolutely one of my favorite things to do. If I could figure out how to be on one long, continuous vacation, I think I would do it. With that said, here I am now. After living in a few, different countries, creating and gathering miles under my feet, I landed back in the States to find the love of my life, my husband. While out exploring the wild, blue yonder together, we dreamed about having a family and taking them with us. Everywhere. We didn’t want to leave them home. We felt like there must be a way to still travel the world finding all those exotic, romantic, incredible, memorable spots even with the kids in tow. We made a vow to ourselves that the adventure would never stop. A few years later, we made our super, amazing dude (he’s almost sixteen), and then we created the last of our tribe, our oh so sweet bunny (she just turned ten). From the very beginning of both their lives, we have been traveling around. That girl I used to know who could get up and go with complete freedom may have to plan a little bit now, but I assure you, she’s living the dream, one amazing trip after another.
I hope you find this blog helpful in your own quest to find those spots that we all dream about. I am always seeking out the super cozy, slightly sheik, ultra romantic hotels, those adorable & scrumptious restaurants (who can rock the vegan for us), and I am always seeking those things to do that will inspire and awe all of us. Please give me your feedback and your own stories of adventure. I would love to share them or even check them out myself.
Thanks for coming…
