Korcula is a magical island right off the coast of Southern Croatia, bathing in the clear, emerald green, Adriatic Sea. This is the place where Marco Polo, the famed explorer, traveler, and writer was born. A place that oozes romance and hidden coves nestled in front of grape vines, olive trees, and pine forests. A true gem of a place. Then to make the picture perfect, right in the old, medieval town, there is an 18th century Bishop’s palace with five cottages turned into the most luxurious, stunning, special boutique hotel, Lesic Demetri Palace. No expense or style has been spared creating this place. Each of the five residences tend to every imaginable detail and pleasure that any traveler could dream. The stone floors, the marble bathrooms, the fully stocked kitchens, the giant, Jacuzzi bathtubs, and the special outdoor private terraces just begin to paint the magnificence of this place. Of all the places that we stayed at or experienced in our five weeks travel throughout Croatia this was by far my favorite. Every once in awhile, one stumbles across a place that will capture not only your heart, but your breathe too, Lesic Demetri Palace does this…

Of course this place is going to deliver whatever your heart desires.
2. roomy:
Roomy doesn’t even describe it… since they were originally cottages, each residence is like a small, gorgeous house.
3. extra fluff:
We are talking fluffy, puffy, lush, extremely comfortable beds, towels, and even lounge areas. I felt like a queen.
4. plushities:
Honestly there are too many to list them all so I will name some of my favorites: the deep, huge jacuzzi bathtubs in each of the bedrooms, illy coffee with machine & fine tea selection with local honey, sexy lighting, hardcover picture books
5.snaggables:
They have gorgeous, regionally made body products in full size bottles ranging from rosemary shampoo , conditioner, and body wash, to lavender body lotion, to sandalwood, sweet orange bath sea salts.
6. super secret sexy time:
There is so much space, with a variety of rooms, there is no need for secret…
7. dockya’s:
Nothing extra or hidden. They even include the amazing Italian illy coffee & tea selection in the room, plus the delicious breakfast, as part of the room rate.
