Greece is one of my families favorite destinations to visit again and again. The warm people, the scrumptious food, the spectacular scenery, the ancient history, have us constantly inspired for more. There is so much to see, so much to do, so many meals to share. I dream about our next adventures there.
Unless I am camping out in our worlds’ epic nature scene, at this stage in my game, I am constantly seeking out the fabulous, special, luxury hotels in any given location. Athens boasts many. When one is googling for luxury hotels in Athens, many will pop up in your search engine, but few will actually fit the bill. The King George Hotel truly fits the bill. This gorgeous, romantic, ideally located, perfect hotel has stolen my heart. Of course it also delivers on that amazing Parthenon view, but it’s the intimate, non- pretentious vibe that will embrace you from the moment you enter. Imagine a devine bed, lights on dimmers, marble bathrooms, parquet floors, and all the amenities one could desire. And whatever you do, don’t skip the delicious breakfast buffet with the mesmerizing view in the close distance.
As far as hotels in Athens, It’s only true competition is it’s spectacular, bigger sister next door, The Grande Bretagne Hotel.
